Well it seems that my edit to a wiki article was removed, so I will put what I added on here now, as per the assignment.
Another aspect that a player must consider when constructing their deck is the mana curve. The mana curve is the distribution of mana costs from low to high within the deck. This is achieved by checking the converted mana costs of all the cards when choosing what creatures and spells are going to be used in the deck. In most cases, the lower the mana cost the faster the deck can swarm the field and gain control of the game flow. When the mana cost is higher, the opposite is true, the speed of the game tends to be slower as the player tries to build up the amount of usable mana to play the higher cost spells. Overall, a balance of low and high cost creatures is the ideal situation so that a player can have the defense they need with the low cost creatures while building up the amount of mana available to use the high cost creature or spells to overrun their opponent. The best way to check the mana curve of a deck is to take all the cards that the player wishes to use and lay them out by cost, going from left to right, low cost to high cost. A majority of spells should fall between the 0-3 cost range and branch out slowly into the 4-5+ mana cost range. This will ensure an even spread of mana usage throughout the game and keep the player in better standings to always be able to play a creature or spell when needed.

As per the assignment
Well this probably should have been posted on my first entry, I complete forgot about it until just recently. There are a few blogs I found to be interesting from my fellow Intro to Electronic Media classmates.
Here are 3 that I decided to follow

MTG is Addictive as F*#$
So the other day my girlfriend and I went to the local comic shop to buy some magic the gathering packs and I was still stoked that I had just pulled a $38 rare a few days before, and well as we were opening the packs, low and behold she pulled 2 $58 rares within a day of each other....it was one of those wtf moments that just makes playing card games not fair.
Anyways, we are both in the process of building new decks. She is currently constructing a Blue/White mill, and I'm trying to rebuild a Green/Black elf deck, at the same time I'm trying to build a Red/ some color burn deck and a Blue/Black kill, control and mill. I have too much nerdiness for one person to handle at one point in time.
Well if any of you happen to have any experience with MTG and building decks while staying Type 2 legal, feel free to drop some advice. It would be greatly appreciated in fact.
p.s. if anyone has any advice as to how to design websites using Dreamweaver, or just html/css PLEASE offer some advice, this stuff is killing my brain >_<

Um....
(I apologize for the bad grammar in advance, it has been a long day)
</> at the end = good
<> at the end=bad
I'm really kinda lost when it comes to this, but it must be done. Eventually I'll get there.
Anyways, I'm trying to come up with new things to design for my graphics class as well as for this class (web design, just incase you forgot). I have had a design block going on lately and it makes it really hard to not seem generic.
Well time to pay attention again, the lesson on dreamweaver begins!!!!
Let the games begin
Well today is the first day of this blog, I really have no idea what to write about at this time. But if you happen to stumble across this in your day browse, drop a topic in the comments, send me an email or what ever works for you.
I'm hoping that this blog will allow us all to share dweebtastic ideas, ranging from playing card games to video games, to conventions (cons) of all types, and the intricacy of designing cosplays/costumes for any event.
I'm sure I will be back later today or within the next few days with adiquate topics for all my dedicated followers (which is 0 at the moment ^_^"). Hope you all enjoyed this rivetting first post......
I look forward to future interactions with you all.
